Day 1: Luang Prabang – Houay Khong – Vieng Hin Village Homestay
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel at 8:00 AM.
Travel along Route 13 North by private vehicle, passing through lush countryside and mountain scenery.

Your first stop is at Ban Nayang, a traditional Lao Lue village known for its handmade weaving and ancient architecture.
Continue to Ban Houay Khong, the starting point for your trek to Ban Vieng Hin, a Hmong tribal village.
The trail follows a small stream and forested path, passing waterfalls and scenic valleys. After about 3–4 hours of hiking, you’ll arrive at Ban Vieng Hin where you’ll stay overnight in a local homestay.
In the afternoon, your guide will walk you through the village, explaining Hmong culture and traditions.
In the evening, join your host family to help prepare dinner and enjoy authentic home-cooked Lao food.
Day 2: Vieng Hin – Ban Phayong Village Homestay
After breakfast, set out on a 6-hour trek through farmlands, forest trails, and open mountain ridges.
The trail passes Hmong farms and Khmu villages, offering a glimpse into traditional rural life.
You’ll arrive in Ban Phayong, a mixed Khmu and Hmong village, where you’ll spend another overnight stay in a homestay.
Enjoy a relaxing evening with your hosts, sharing local dishes and learning about their customs.
Day 3: Kayaking on Nam Ou River or Trekking to Tad Mok Waterfall – Explore Nong Khiew
After breakfast, begin your final day with a 1.5-hour walk through farmland to reach the Nam Ou River.
Here, your guide will give a safety briefing and kayaking instructions before you begin paddling down the Nam Ou River toward Nong Khiew.
Along the way, enjoy the stunning views of karst limestone mountains, jungle-covered cliffs, and riverside villages.
After lunch, explore the Pha Tok and Manda Caves, historical sites used during the Indochina War, before hiking up to the Pha Somnang Viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views over Nong Khiew town.
Alternatively, travelers who prefer trekking can opt for a visit to the beautiful Tad Mok Waterfall instead of kayaking.
After your activity, return to Nong Khiew town where the tour concludes.
