Your experienced local guide will meet you at your accommodation around 8:00 AM. Travel by private minivan approximately 4 hours north of Luang Prabang along scenic mountain roads.

On the way, stop at Ban Na Yang, a traditional Lao Lue village known for its handicrafts, where you’ll see locals weaving cotton and silk and dyeing textiles using natural colors. Continue to Ban Houay Kong, the starting point for your trekking adventure.

Begin your 3 - 4 hour trek through rural farmland, passing rubber, teak, corn, and rice fields, before entering the lush jungle valley. Enjoy a jungle picnic lunch prepared by your guide along the way.
In the afternoon, climb up to Ban Vieng Hin, a traditional Hmong tribal village, where you’ll experience your first authentic local homestay.

In the evening, your guide and hosts will share stories about Hmong culture, traditions, and village life, followed by a home-cooked Laotian dinner. Overnight in a traditional Hmong homestead.

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of village life. After breakfast prepared by your guide, bid farewell to your hosts and begin your 6 - 7 hour trek to Ban Pha Yong village.

Today’s route passes through rolling hills, jungle paths, and farmland, offering incredible views and a chance to see the region’s diverse flora and fauna.
Along the way, stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic forest clearing.

Continue trekking to Ban Pha Yong, a mixed Hmong and Khmu tribal village, where you’ll stay in another local homestay. This evening, learn how to cook traditional dishes alongside your host family and enjoy dinner together — a memorable cultural exchange.

After breakfast, begin your day with a short 1-hour trek to reach the Nam Ou Riverbank. From there, take a local boat across the river to Ban Sopkong Village, where your guide will lead you on a scenic trek through lush rice fields and local farmland to reach the beautiful Tad Mok Waterfall.
Enjoy time to relax, swim, and take photos at this refreshing natural spot surrounded by jungle.

After exploring the waterfall, walk back to the river and board your boat again to cruise down the Nam Ou River toward Muang Ngoi Village. Upon arrival, hike up to the Muang Ngoi viewpoint, offering a stunning panorama of the river valley and surrounding limestone mountains.

After descending, stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Muang Ngoi before continuing your journey by boat upstream for about 25 minutes to reach Ban Sop Jem Village, where you’ll enjoy your next local homestay experience.
Spend the evening learning about village life, relaxing with your hosts, and enjoying a traditional home-cooked dinner.

After breakfast, embark on a slow boat cruise down the Nam Ou River, gliding past dramatic limestone cliffs, remote villages, and lush green landscapes. The scenic journey offers a peaceful glimpse into rural river life along one of Laos’s most beautiful waterways.

Arrive at Nongkhiew Town by late morning and check in to your hotel. After settling in, begin your afternoon exploration with a visit to the Phatok Historical Cave, which served as a hideout during the Vietnam War era. Continue to explore Manda Cave (Mother Cave) and stop by the local War Museum to learn more about the region’s fascinating wartime history.

Return to town for lunch at a local restaurant, then enjoy some leisure time before your evening adventure. Later in the afternoon, climb up to the Phasomnang Viewpoint, where you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view over Nongkhiew and the surrounding mountains — the perfect spot to witness a stunning sunset.

After descending from the viewpoint, take a leisurely walk around Nongkhiew town, exploring its charming riverside atmosphere before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, begin your final adventure with a scenic boat cruise down the Nam Ou River toward the Second Dam, enjoying around two hours of peaceful river views surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush jungle landscapes.

Upon arrival at the dam, transfer by private van for approximately one hour to the Pak Ou Caves, one of Luang Prabang’s most famous and sacred landmarks. Explore both the upper and lower caves, which house thousands of Buddha statues of varying sizes and styles. Your guide will share the fascinating history of these holy caves and their deep spiritual significance to Lao people.

After exploring the caves, board your boat for a relaxing lunch cruise along the Mekong River. Savor a delicious meal while taking in the breathtaking scenery and golden sunset as you journey back toward Luang Prabang.
