We at Laos Ecotourism Travel Co are proud to share the tremendous natural beauty, and traditional Asian culture of Laos, with visitors from across the globe. We are committed to doing this in a way that has as minimal of a negative impact on the surrounding environment as possible. We also try to support local communities ensuring skilled craftspeople can keep producing unique items using traditional techniques.
📖 Our History
As a recently established company, this is the culmination of Founder Chao's hard work and determination, to provide incredible experiences through tours that will create memories that will last a lifetime. These tours have been tailored by Chao using his wealth of knowledge gained from having over 20 years experience as a tour guide in the industry. Coming from humble beginnings in a small rural village, Chao, the eldest of 6 siblings, was sent to an orphanage in Luang Prabang from a young age. This allowed him access to an education enabling him to learn amongst other things foreign language skills. After graduation he was able to utilise these skills gaining employment as a professional tour guide all across South East Asia. Now in creating his own tour company he is able to take people to new unique and long-established locations across Laos, to experience tours no other operators can offer. Our office is located just outside of Luang Prabang on the main route to the spectacular Kuang Si falls where we offer a wide variety of coffee and cold drinks, why not drop in for refreshments and say Hi for a no obligation chat about our range of tours.
