The tour starts with a hotel pickup at 8:00 AM, followed by a 1-hour drive north of Luang Prabang to the starting point at Ban Hadkor Village. From there, begin your 6-hour trek (approximately 18 km) through lush farmland and forest trails while visiting four ethnic hill tribe villages — home to the Khmu and Hmong people.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, learn about local life, traditions, and culture of the Khmu and Hmong communities, and stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.
After exploring the villages, continue trekking downhill to the main road, where a vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Luang Prabang. The tour concludes at your hotel in the late afternoon.
